初めはそれほど意識していませんでしたが、
色々と被って行くうちに一番存在感があった
素晴らしきヘルメットでした。
恐れ多くもイタリアの代名詞フェラーリの紋章が入れられています。
ド派手なインパクトのイエローヘルメットです。
実は柳本氏の一番のお気に入りなのです。
横から見た雰囲気はそれ程大きくは見えませんでした。
全体的なデザインの処理も思った以上にコンパクトで
ヘルメット選びに明け暮れた１日でした。
こちらのモトーリモーダさんに以前カタログを送ってもらっていましたので、
ある程度目星は付けていたつもりでしたが、
写真で見るのと現物を見るのとではやっぱり違います。
カタログに掲載されている商品全部が展示してあり、
キレイに並べられたこだわりのヘルメットを片っ端から試着させてもらいました。
本来はガンメタリックのＧＴ１０００用の渋いカラーリングにあう
ヘルメットを購入する予定だったのですが、
棚の中でもひと際目立つ、
イタリアンカラーのこのラインナップが特に目に止まりました。
見た目のインパクトとデザインの美しさもさる事ながら、
被ってみるとその違いが歴然で、
とても軽く被り心地が非常に良かったです。
バックルの付け外しもワンタッチで、
これならグローブをはめた状態でも簡単に着脱できそうです。
レッド・イエロー・ブラックの３色がありましたが、どれも素敵です。
特にレッドとイエローが気に入りました。
気持ち的には両方手に入れたいところでしたが、
予算の関係上、１つ購入するだけでも精一杯でした。
なので、ここはイタリアンレッドに軍配が上がりました。
レッドとホワイトのコンビネーションが絶妙で、
ＤＵＣＡＴＩスポーツ１０００Ｓのカラーリングに合いそうだな・・・
と勝手にイメージがふくらみ、思い切って決めちゃいました。
購入手続きを終え、帰りのクルマの中でふと我に返ると、
「あれ、今日はいったい何をしに・・・？
確かＧＴ１０００用の渋めのカラーに合わせたヘルメットを
買うハズだったのでは？」
お店の雰囲気がイタリアンチックで、
棚に並べられたインパクトあるヘルメットを目の前にし、
テンションが上がって、
思わず全然予定以外のモノを購入してしまいました。
フェラーリのロゴにも完全に魅了されてしまっていました。
人の心を動かすイタリアのデザインにより、
完全に冷静な判断を失い、衝動的な行動を起こしてしまった私です。
それでも、不思議と心は満足感で一杯でした。
おかげでＧＴ１０００用のヘルメット購入はもう少し先になりそうです。
でも、お気に入りは一気に揃えてしまうよりも、
いろいろゆっくり迷いながら購入するのも楽しいものですよね。
